Free Grocery hamper with wine Voucher Code CMS10

Free Grocery hamper and wine.

We all need something to look forward too now the days are rapidly shortening and summer flight timetables have been published, so now is a good time to start planning your holiday for 2010. We’ve been busy adding and updating images on our website as feedback from this year has shown us that photos play an important role in helping you choosing your holiday accommodation. We’ve added a logo to the increasing number of properties which have wi-fi access and are working on a more refined ‘search’ facility.

We’ll help get your 2010 holiday off to a flying start, by delivering a starter Grocery hamper, packed with essentials and a bottle of wine, to your accommodation, free of charge, if you book before 15th Dec, and for those with young families a free cot as well. To ensure you receive this, submit code CMS10 when prompted during the booking procedure.

We’re delighted that in our 25th year, an increasing number of second generation Freelancers have chosen to book with us. Memories of childhood holidays has given them confidence to put their trust in us to provide a consistent quality of accommodation for their families, whether it’s a luxury villa or harbour side studio, and unrivalled care and attention to detail. They also know that we won’t interfere with their holidays but we’re prepared to go that extra mile when called upon if the best laid plans don’t go accordingly. This year for example we’ve quickly opened doors for clients who’ve lost their keys, given travel directions over the telephone when documentation has been left at home on the kitchen table, we’ve helped to plan weddings and honeymoons and even returned lost teddies.

To provide you with complete financial peace of mind we include, free of charge with each booking, a policy with IGI Insurance Company Ltd to ensure that you are fully protected for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of all monies paid to us.

We have already started taking bookings for next year and with the majority of our accommodation frozen at 2009 prices and all offering exceptional value for money, we once again pledge not to levy surcharges.

Please remember, we love talking about holidays and are always happy to chat about your booking, so feel free to plumb the depths of our knowledge and experience to ensure that your accommodation is going to be the best choice for you.

Lastly, we hope you will find the pocket calendar useful to highlight those important dates for next year including of course, your Freelance Holiday.

NEW Crete properties are easy on the purse

NEW Crete properties are easy on the purse

Villa specialist Freelance Holidays has added some great value apartments and villas to their 2010 line-up of 100 holiday homes on Crete.

With a large, shared pool, the three buildings that make up the Antilia Apartments are set in pretty gardens above the laid-back resort of Tavronitis and offer simple but spotlessly clean accommodation. There are 20 one- and two-bedroom apartments and the pool area enjoys outstanding views to the coast. The beach is five minutes’ down the hill by car and the village tavernas and shops are even closer. A week’s rental of a two-bedroom apartment sleeping four costs from just £510 for a week in May rising to £725 in August – including air-conditioning and daily maid service.

For those who prefer an individual villa with private pool, Villa Migdalia – also new for 2010 – is a converted bakery transformed into a pink-washed house to sleep four. It’s in the heart of a thriving village with shops, cafenions and tavernas within 10 minutes’ walk, while the north-west coast is within 15 minutes’ drive.

The original bread oven is still in the courtyard but there’s a modern kitchen for more usual self-catering! The double bedroom en-suite is on the first floor, with great views from its private terrace, plus a twin room and shower room on the ground floor, along with the dining/living area. The small pool is in the private courtyard, complete with the almond tree that gives Villa Migdalia its name. A week’s rental in May is £625, rising to £1,475 in August peak, including twice weekly maid service.

Flights are not included: Crete is well-served by firstchoice.co.uk, monarch-airways.com, jet2.com and easyjet.com. Freelance can arrange car hire on request and the company has just joined ABTA.
